A little D.I.Y: All purpose Cleaner

Spring Cleaning is a real thing, but so is Summer Sanitation in my house! Every spring I clean out and organize, but as soon as everything has a proper home and is neat and tidy. I sanitize and deep clean from ceiling to floor, room by room; however, with more and more articles and studies being published about how harmful household cleaners are and the effects they are having on our bodies, I decided to change things up this year and cut out some of those harsh chemical cleaners.

Here is my favorite All Purpose Cleaner Recipe. I hope you try it out and enjoy it as much as I have!

Lemon All Purpose Cleaner:edit 1 lemon spray

What you’ll need…

  • Re-useable spray bottle
  • 2 cups of distilled water
  • 1/2 cup of vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of baking soda
  • 20+ drops of essential oils.(We chose lemon!)

Now what…

Start by rinsing out your bottle with water. Once your bottle is rinsed, pour water and vinegar into the bottle, then add your baking soda and oil. We added 20 drops, you can decrease this or increase this depending on how potent you want the scent. Shake gently and then clean away.

I also found were Joanna Gaines published her favorite household all natural cleaner recipes, so I’ll share those below as well.
